Description
A looooong overdue trade piece for skipwr3ck: Balls are dull affairs to a pirate, so Captain Scarlet Waters amuses herself at the expense of the hostess... and Vin is pushed into the truly harrowing (I'm sure) role of distractor. Her gown is based on one Madame Pompadour wears in one of her portraits, though with a more "sea" color scheme (and of course a ship in the hair for a pirate captain!). Fun fact: women's pockets were separate entities from the women's garments, essentially little pouches on a string, which they could access through slits in their petticoats, as the captain is doing here, preparing to stuff her pocket with stolen jewels.
